A natural wonder for the whole family on the Krienseregg
Take your little adventurers on a nature hike. The beautiful mossy landscape, bubbling mountain streams, reed meadows and woods, traces of the Ice Age – this makes learning fun, and for your kids as well.
HIKING WOODS AND TRAILS
Parting from the Panorama Gondolas midway station Krienseregg takes you through the Forenmoos moorland. This is a delicate and protected natural habitat. Take your time delving into and learning the interesting details of these valuable habitats. There are five wooden observation platforms on the hike, the Dragon Moor, reached via raised boardwalks.
The path to the platforms takes you over wooded trails. To see it all takes from 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on how long you linger at each station.
Details on habitats, moor inhabitants, moor protection and much more are provided on the green information signs at each of the five platforms.
The Dragon Moor platforms are open year round, although the snow may lie quite deep in the winter. We recommend visiting during the warmer months or in milder winter weather. Look up the forecast online.
