In 2003, the PILATUS-BAHNEN was the first mountain railway in Central Switzerland to be awarded the ISO 9001:2000 and 14001Certificates for the whole company.

Pioneers in the environmental field
In 2003, in addition to the Quality Management System, the PILATUS-BAHNEN also introduced an Environmental Management System and was awarded the ISO 14001Certificate for the whole company. With environmental management, we pay particular attention to the daily sorting and disposal of refuse and recyclable materials from our hotel and gastronomic operations.
