Bright prospects: «A mountain … is investing in the future» - in other words: Mount Pilatus will be more attractive than ever!

Renovation and extension work is at present being concentrated on the Hotel Pilatus-Kulm. The Pilatus Business Centre with its seminar, banquet and à-la-carte cuisine offers, rooms and lobby with cosy bar have had an impressive new look since Whitsun. The new guest rooms and suites will be opened at the end of June, followed by the à-la-carte Queen Victoria Restaurant at the end of July.

Temporary closure of operations on Pilatus Kulm

As a result of the concentration of individual building projects, operations on Pilatus Kulm will close completely from 22 November 2010 to 25 February 2011. During this period, we will have a range of attractions ready for you at Fräkmüntegg and Krienseregg.

Changes to operating times

From October 2010 to February 2011 our facilities will be closed as follows:
25.10.2010 – 12.11.2010 Kriens panorama aerial gondola and aerial cableway closed for maintenance work
25.10.2010 – 25.02.2011 Aerial cableway Fräkmüntegg – Pilatus Kulm closed (excluding construction transport)

25.10.2010 – 25.02.2011 Hotel Bellevue closed

22.11.2010 – 25.02.2011 All operations on Pilatus Kulm closed

Construction and renovation work will last until May 2011. You can keep up to date with the major milestones on our website under Building projects. It's well worth a visit!
